How Prodec Networks uses cookies

Prodec Networks uses cookies to provide users with the best experience when utilising the website and also to provide Prodec Networks with user analytics to ensure our website is as relevant as it can be and to help ensure users only receive information of interest to them.

_gid

(Expires: 1 day)

Used to distinguish users.

_gat

(Expires: 1 minute)

Used to throttle request rate. If Google Analytics is deployed via Google Tag Manager, this cookie will be named _dc_gtm_<property-id>.

AMP_TOKEN

(Expires: 30 seconds to 1 year)

Contains a token that can be used to retrieve a Client ID from AMP Client ID service. Other possible values indicate opt-out, inflight request or an error retrieving a Client ID from AMP Client ID service.

_gac_<property-id>

(Expires: 3 months)

Contains campaign related information for the user. If you have linked your Google Analytics and AdWords accounts, AdWords website conversion tags will read this cookie unless you opt-out.

Hubspot

Hubspot is a third party marketing platform that allows Prodec Networks to automate and enhance its marketing activity, ensuring that only relevant information is provided to appropriate organisations. Learn more about Hubspot cookies here:

__hs_opt_out

(Expires: 2 years)

This cookie is used by the opt-in privacy policy to remember not to ask the visitor to accept cookies again. This cookie is set when you give visitors the choice to opt out of cookies. 

__hs_do_not_track

(Expires: 2 years)

This cookie can be set to prevent the tracking code from sending any information to HubSpot. Setting this cookie is different from opting out of cookies, which still allows anonymized information to be sent to HubSpot.

__hs_testcookie

(Expires: Session cookie)

This cookie is used to test whether the visitor has support for cookies enabled. 

hs_ab_test

(Expires: Session cookie) 

This cookie is used to consistently serve visitors the same version of an A/B test page that they’ve seen before.

hs_lang_switcher_choice

 

This cookie is used to consistently redirect visitors to the language version of a page in the language they’ve selected on this top-level private domain in the past (if such a language version exists).

<id>_key

 

When visiting a password-protected page, this cookie is set so future visits to the page from the same browser do not require login. The cookie name is unique for each password-protected page.   

hs-messages-is-open

(Expires:  30 minutes)

This cookie is used on the visitor UI side so HubSpot can determine/save whether the chat widget is open for future visits. It resets after 30 minutes to re-close the widget after 30 minutes of inactivity

hs-messages-hide-welcome-message

(Expires: 1 day)  

When you dismiss the welcome message in your messages tool, a cookie is set to prevent it from appearing again for one day.

__hstc

(Expires: 2 years) 

The main cookie for tracking visitors. It contains the domain, utk (see below), initial timestamp (first visit), last timestamp (last visit), current timestamp (this visit), and session number (increments for each subsequent session).

hubspotutk

(Expires: 10 years) 

This cookie is used for to keep track of a visitor's identity. This cookie is passed to HubSpot on form submission and used when de-duplicating contacts.

__hssc

(Expires: 30 min) 

This cookie keeps track of sessions. This is used to determine if we should increment the session number and timestamps in the __hstc cookie. It contains the domain, viewCount (increments each pageView in a session), and session start timestamp. 

__hssrc

(Expires: None. Session cookie) 

Whenever HubSpot changes the session cookie, this cookie is also set. We set it to 1 and use it to determine if the visitor has restarted their browser. If this cookie does not exist when we manage cookies, we assume it is a new session.

Live Chat

Live chat is a third party application that allows site visitors to interact with a Prodec representative directly. These cookies are necessary for the functionality of this application to work and typically expire at the end of the session.

Responsetap

Responsetap is a third party application that allows Prodec Networks to distinguish between different phone users in order to attribute phone activity to particular use cases. Prodec Networks does not record phone calls.

(Expires: 1 year)

Contains a visitor id for a website visitor, which is used by ResponseTap to track a visitor over time. This cookie allows ResponseTap to link multiple visits made over time by a visitor from the same browser

_adiVi

(Expires:  30 minutes)

Is a session cookie which contains a visit session id. This cookie is used by ResponseTap to track a visitor’s browsing session. This allows ResponseTap to link all the visitor page views to their current browsing session.

_adiLP

(Expires:  30 minutes)

Contains a timestamp for the last time a ResponseTap server was contacted, in order to reserve a call tracking number for an active website visitor.

_adiS

(Expires:  30 minutes)

Contains a server session ID used by ResponseTap systems to ensure incoming requests are assigned to an appropriate internal server for processing.

_JSESSIONID

(Expires:  30 minutes)

DEPRECATED - Occasionally set by the ResponseTap server responsible for serving telephone numbers and contains the same value as the adiS cookie. This cookie is no longer used by the application as it has been replaced by the adiS cookie but is still occasionally set where it doesn’t currently exist.

_adiErr

(Expires:  30 minutes)

This is only set when a client does not have JavaScript or cookies enabled, or when ResponseTap tracking code has been incorrectly installed or formatted, or when there is a server-side error. This cookie has an expiry of 30 minutes from when it is set and prevents number replacement and tracking while it exists.

_adiBas

(Expires: configurable amount of time between 1 and 336 hours (14 days))

Only set for customers using rtap-session - a specific configuration of ResponseTap to limit which visitors are tracked and when tracking numbers are displayed based on the source they were referred from. This contains the 'approved tracking source' of the client and lasts for a configurable amount of time between 1 and 336 hours (14 days) from the time the visitor clicks through from an 'approved tracking source'

New Relic

New Relic is a third party monitoring tool that allows Prodec Networks to monitor website usage and identify any suspicious or malicious traffic and help with load balancing. These cookies are only active for the duration of the browser session.

Social Sharing

The Prodec website allows users to share content and pages with social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
